The MLB draft is 1 week away, and on this episode of the FutureSox Podcast Ian Eskridge and James Fox are making their pick for who they are 100% in on. They break down what the White Sox might look to do with their bonus pool early to try and grab the guys that they're looking at. All the draft content is out on the site building to next Sunday's draft, which FutureSox will be covering live on YouTube next Sunday at 6PM.
Ian and James also talked Future Stars game with Colson Montgomery and Noah Schultz being named this week. They also moved to the org promotions of Brooks Baldwin and Edgar Quero, and possibly what some of the reasons for moving them might have been. They also talk about the promotion of Tommy Vail to Winston-Salem with Peyton Pallette in the piggyback role, and the corresponding moves of Enrico Brizuela and Patrick Maybach.
They finish up the pod addressing the George Wolkow explosion in the last 2 weeks, who Tommy Vail is, and finally come to a close talking Lenyn Sosa's turnaround in his recent call up.

On a special edition of the FutureSox Podcast Ian Eskridge and James Fox welcome a fountain of draft knowledge in the form of Joe Doyle of FutureStarsSeries.com. He was gracious enough to give us an hour plus. There is a lot of information packed into a short time.
The opening topics include: Draft strengths and weaknesses by category, what kind of impact you will see in the Top 100 lists from the drafted players, and the helium players that have raised their stock in the back half of the prep and college season.
They move into what the Guardians are doing, and the process of "cutting a deal" and why it plays such a huge part in the MLB draft. They move on to what the White Sox can expect to have available at number 5, and what they should do. There is some talk of what will be the strategy of the White Sox in the next couple rounds.
They close with what George Wolkow's draft expectations could have been if he had not reclassified, and the FutureSox Podcast goes to task on finding a deal for Joe's Mariners with White Sox players.

On the 2nd piece of the podcast, BA's Peter Flaherty joins for an in-depth MLB Draft preview as he talks about the entire draft from a White Sox perspective. He goes through the possibilities for the first four picks prior to the Sox and then all of the options at number five for Chicago. He then provides plenty of names who could be worth monitoring in the second and third rounds as well as some later round sleepers. He wraps by giving his take on the future direction of the White Sox.

On this episode of the FutureSox Podcast Ian Eskridge and James Fox welcome Baseball America's Carlos Collazo. They discussed his recent trip to the MLB Draft Combine, what his takeaways were and how he feels the combine benefits MLB execs.
They recap the BA MLB Mock Draft 4.0 and who the Guardians will take 1.1 and who he would take at 1.1 if money were no object. They get around to who Carlos thinks will be available for the White Sox and who the Sox should take at #5.
Prep pitching is rumored to the Sox with the 43rd and 68th pick in the draft, so they go through a few of the names that will be available before moving to Carlos's feelings on the new anti-tank draft rules and how he feels about the rookie league ending in July, and the draft also being in mid July.
